She writes it in such an engaging manner that it resembles a novel more than a report. I finished it thinking I knew Cleopatra, and Mark Antony, and the age. I wish Shiff would write a book on St. Joan.

Sure, several books we share in common...but have you read Stacy Shiff's biography of Cleopatra yet? Think about it. Do you like reading historical fiction or history better?
