    Have you read Laxdæla - an icelandic saga ? Also, Gísla saga...Eiríks Saga (the father of Leifur Eiríksson)...There are loads more, but yes, not many are better then Njáls Saga :D

    I thought "A Lesson Before Dying" was really well written, it just didn't do mucg for me. But like I said, I really love how Gaines writes.
