  • I, Tina
    • Rated 4 stars

I love reading biographies, I enjoy the music of Tina Turner and I think she is quite some lady. But even more than that her story inspired me.
To quote from the book : "My message here, and I hope that there is a message for people in this book, is : If you are unhappy with anything - your mother, your father, your husband, your wife, your job, your boss, your care - whatever is bringing you down, get rid of it. Because you find that when you're free, your true creativity, your true self comes out".

Women read books. Men read books by male men. This wonderfull book by Siri Hustvedt is the perfect excuse for men to read books written by women.

Book much overrated. No emotion at all. Too much greediness.

Italy is not only a great country to travel. It is also a great place to read about. And Taschen makes us dream about Italy.

  • The Naked Presenter
    • Rated 4 stars

I read a lot of books about presentation techniques. Without any doubt Garr Reynolds wrote the best. And I really favour his recent book "The Naked Presenter". His previous books were about presentation ("Presentation Zen") and about design ("Presentation Zen Design"). This book is about the core of presenting : delivering in a natural way.

  • Delivering Happiness
    • Rated 4 stars

I didn't like the start of the book : how to make a lot of money. But then it turned into a real pageturner about brand and company ethics. A good read !
