It only took me a year to sign up - but I'm "in" now and hope to read a book! Do you still use this site?
This site is really hard to use! It took me 5 minutes to figure out how to post what I'm currently reading and I'm still not sure I put it in right!
I just finished The Countess and the King, by Susan Holloway Scott. A book recommended by a librarian at the Champaign Public Library. I thought it was great. We may want to try her other books to get our fill of historical fiction.
It ranked right up there with Devil in the White City.

I have not read White Queen. I have a stack of books going but if you want to bring it to the Oct. book club meeting that would be great.
I'm about a third of the way through - and really enjoying it. Thank heavens for Audible - except that with all the packing I'm going through books like mad.

Have not had much time on it yet--so far it seems better.
Absolutely am loving it. Nothing like a good STORY . . not always easy to find. Plus put off reading it for a long time as I didn't think it 'sounded good.' Silly me!
In the end and overall, I did enjoy it very much. But, because I had a hectic week when I started it, I found I needed to interrupt the book and read a fast paced Patterson book. I went back to it after 2-3 days and could really get into it then. I don't think I've ever done that before.

Looks like a great site! Are u going to buy The Best Light Recipes? Sounds good. I am going to read the 2 Sept. books before the Oct book. Later.
