Hi Jeanette! I haven't seen or talked to you in a while, so I figured I'd leave you a message here, hoping that you'll see it eventually since I know we aren't quite as connected to shelfari as we are to facebook for some reason. But I saw that you were on here recently and thought I'd surprise you with this message for the next time you go on. Anyway, I miss you! I hope we can find a time to hang out this summer, even though I know you're really busy. I'd like to hear more about your co-op and how you're enjoying it. I could also tell you all about my collegiate endeavors and misadventures. There's actually not a whole lot new with me; I've got a pretty uneventful summer ahead. Since this is Shelfari, I should probably say something book-related...Have you read anything good recently? You should read The Time Traveler's Wife and Kite Runner. They're both amazing books and made me cry. I'm currently reading Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Have you heard of Harry Potter? I think you'd like those books as well...but what do I know. Happy Summer!
Don't you just love when people leave you notes on shelfari. I mean on facebook it's expected, but it's a well-known fact that only cool people communicate via a website devoted to books. I hope you read Graceling eventually! I just really enjoyed that book. It has an interesting female character that is refreshing change from the typical damsel in distress. Don't read it like it's a piece of literature from AP English though. Just read it to enjoy the original story and emotional journey of the characters. I just thought of a New Year's resolution for you: read 5 of my books this year!
HI! I am typing this to you on my new laptop. I don't know if I told you this yet, but I got a new laptop for Christmas. Now you know because I am pretty sure you didn't know before. I am trying to keep it a secret. So if you see some distant relative or a hobo on the street or a distant relative that is a hobo on the street, make sure you let them know that I have a laptop, but I don't want anyone to know about it. That's all.

DEFINITELY!!! I was just talking about that yesterday with my parents and my dad is just like,"Well, what if we are on vacation during it?" and I was like, "Well, first of all, we WOULDN'T be! And second of all, even if we were, I would just find a theater there and see it at MIDNIGHT!!!"
