I live in Birmingham, England. I love travel and theatregoing. This November, I'll be seeing 'Hairspray' and 'Wicked' in London's West End.
I have a wide taste in reading, but generally like historical fiction, fantasy, Virginia Woolf, Philippa Gregory, Karin Slaughter. I have read a lot of classical literature as well, such as Flaubert, Hardy, Tolstoy and Richardson. That said, I'm always willing to try something else.
The latest treasure I found was Stephenie Meyer's 'The Host'

*** (3 star) A good story, that was quite interesting.
**** (4 star) A superior book, that was well worth reading. Recommended.
***** (5 star) A memorable and top rated book that I loved. It was a pleasure to read. Highly recommended.
