    The Featured Author of this inaugural book of The Creative Writer series is Lynda Myles. She is a two time Grammy Award winning writer for the TV show "Santa Barbara", a produced playwright, and the winner of this year's John Gardner Memorial Prize for Fiction.

    Our Featured Poet is new to the writing world. She is Elli Westmoreland who will soon be studying Creative Writing in college.

    Most of the authors and poets published in this book, like Ms. Westmoreland, have never been published before!
