“This was originally written as a novel for teenagers but in fact it appeals to all ages. This is one of the most unusual books I've ever read. Christopher has asperger's syndrome - he excels in maths and science but has problems with relationships, emotions and cannot stand change. When he goes somewhere different he has to notice every little thing so it exhausts him. The plot is almost incidental to understanding the condition.”
