I like deviantart, I found them some time ago and now follow some of their work thru a Facebook page that selects and post works of artists from deviantart and other sites. It is a nice site and will explore more of it in the future. Let me know if want more info about the FB page and will send you the link to them.
Thanks for posting. I saw your post and it looks awesome!
Nice profile picture! Where you found it? (Probably in the deepest darkness of Giza ―or around there―) Well, I’m posting a note here since saw your review on “The Heroes” (Joe Abercrombie) and we are just talking about that book and others on the discussion I opened about “What is the BEST Battle Scene you have ever read?” I think you probably have some good advice for us. So, thought on inviting you to join us in the talk…
PS, here is the link to the post (in the group Favorite Fantasy): http://www.shelfari.com/groups/10115/discussions/472855/What-is-the-BEST-Battle-Scene-you-have-ever-read-
Thanks for the short review. I've started to read the first part but just couldn't get into it. I don't think I will have problems with the gay part of with explicit descriptions but good to know that I should expect that. I will give it another try than :) And if it's dark and SF like I feel even more interested :)
Sorry, I missed some information --I thought you were combining a stand-alone English edition into a collective work. Would you mind sending the comb. request again and sending me the book ID for "Temple of the Winds" (that way, I'll find the request and approve it fast.
The ID is a number you will see in the middle of the URL for the book. For example:
--the bookID is 2514509
Yes, we usually have snow even a lot of it with low temperatures but not this winter. On the other hand, now we have snow so it might stay until May of something ;)
So it's only me :( So annoying. I updated everything possible and doesn't matter what I use firefox, chrome or IE the problem stays.
Wow sound both amazing and scary. Hope You had good time there with family, snow and books :) and the madness stopped so no more 1,5 meter of snow, just a regular few nice centimetres ;) We have snow, too! And it's already for the third day so we actually might have it longer this time :)
Do we all love books... ? Well here probably yes, we - you and me "all" yes ;) But not all "they" like books ;)
I have some problems with Shelfari for some time. I cannot edit books. I mean I can add them, change theior status but the moment I want to open the additional pop-up window and add eg. tags or books extras or the date I've red it I can't do it. the window does not load properly. Did you encounter something similar maybe?
Wow blizzards and strong winds. Well we had strong winds thought not so strong as you had. And no snow :(
Yeah drunk people with fireworks can be stupid. War zone doesn't seems to ba a good feeling for New Year but I'm sure everything else was cool :)
It's a bad habit with a good explanation ;)
Well, buying books is a bad habit. I usually buy them even though I don't really need them [but of course I need them to brighten my mood ;0, the more books the happier you are, right ;)? It's like a medicine].
Explosions, burning things what the hell was happening in Berlin?
Where will you see snow? There it is gone again!
I'm seeing snow right now :) Though it's that type that will melt within an hour or two.
Happy New Year hope You will have fantastic time in Berlin. I'm gonna work today so, hehe it's less fun ;) And I envy You a lot of books for Christmas. I didn't get any... but well, I bought myself two ;)
Well, I was happy all to soon, the snow vanished one day before Christmas and now it's just raining. But still a bit cold for me ;)
Didn't have plenty of time I worked on Friday and Monday ;) and have only one day free of work this week and it's today, wheeee! ;) so I can catch up a bit of sleep and than enjoy reading ;) Hope your Christmas/Yule/Holidays went well :)
In Poland, I think I'm back for good ;) And it's snowing, wheee ;) so it's freezing cold form me. How are You?
My TBR pile is huge, too. Which is funny as I'm totally out of cash but still I have some books that I brought form Thailand, some borrowed form friends and library and a tiny pile I bought here... now I need time a lot of it! ;)
