I am a librarian in Lansing, MI. I read quite a bit for enjoyment, as well as for my job. I read a little bit of everything, but the areas that I know the most about are Graphic Novels, Young Adult Lit, Fantasy / Sci-fi, and to some extent general fiction. I will not use Shelfari to show the books I actually own and have on my real life book shelf/shelves as I am already working on doing that with my Library Thing account. I will however post any books I have read or am reading that I like. So, you can be assured that every book you see on my shelf is librarian recommended for whatever that is worth. Enjoy.

One thing to note is that for any series that I have read, or read in part, I will only list the first book in the series unless I can find a complete set of the whole series to list. I may often preffer one of the other books in the series, but it makes the most sense to me just to list the first one instead of taking the time to load all of them in. « less
