“After reading "A Night to Remember" I decided to read Walter Lord's "The Night Lives On" for my second pick for The 100th anniversary of the sinking of the "Titanic."
Now before I read this, I figured what else could the author say since he had written one book of the ship. Well, I was shown that he could say a lot more. In this book Lord's narrative is more like a history book than a novel format like his predecessor's. Not only that, through more research, he talks more about "Titanic's" birth, launch, sinking, the aftermath, and the discovery. Just like "A Night to Remember" it is a great read and more detailed history of the ship. Give it a try.
