Highly predictable, sweet but somewhat forgettable.

I'm an adult who is completely addicted to this series. I could reread it once a year and never grow bored with it. It is so intelligently written that I practically drool when taking it into my hands. I have a large volume that contains all three books and it is completely falling apart. I've asked my husband to buy me the new three volume hardback set for Christmas. I'm praying that the movie will do this wonderful series justice. I too recommend these timeless books for all ages...though I still haven't convinced my chic-lit addicted 12 year old to read it. Damn you Meg Cabot and Stephenie Meyer!

I finished it, and I will probably buy the 2nd installment, but I thought it was by far the worst Stephen King book I had ever read. It felt somewhat contrived and empty, with not one likable protagonist. I do like Stephen King, and he did write most of this book at 19...so I'll see if the next in the series is more intriguing.

I'm incredibly sad that this ten year adventure has come to an end, but completely satisfied with its conclusion. Thank you J.K. Rowling for ten years and seven books of unprecedented magic. I can't wait to start over again from book one. Now start writing that Hogwarts A History of Magic!

This was the first comic book/graphic novel (whatever) that I have ever read. The story was interesting enough but the dialog was sometimes corny. I'd like to read the rest of the story...but I may just borrow the other installments if I can.

Beautiful and heart wrenching. Every bit as compelling as Kite Runner, perhaps more so for a mother. I expected a tepid follow up to Hosseini's first novel, which I read in three days...this I could not put down, I finished it in one day.....my eyes swollen and red. If you loved the Kite Runner, you will not be disappointed by Hosseini's newest novel

Not only the best decorating ideas book ever, but the beautiful photographs make it must have for any coffee table sitting inside a Spanish adobe such as my own.

Bored me to tears. I'm two thirds of the way done and feel like I'm motivating myself for a marathon to continue reading it.

Interesting. Beck's journey of self discovery and spirituality make for a very fast and entertaining read but I found some parts of the book to be a contrivance.

Brain candy. Fun, sexy, kitschy...and there's nothing wrong with that!
