    Hi Liz,

You are so inspiring and encouraging! Your words ooze with sincerity. I will take your advice. Thank you. Harper Lee is one of my favourite authors. Her writing is real literature all be it quite different in style to what our students are used to ... Therefore, writing in between my own experiences and fiction is the way to go. This will help in providing the reader with empathy and entertainment. However, I'm not able to begin at the moment. Life is full of surprises! So I must wait. In the mean time the story is mulling in my brain. My students have given me the gift to explore this genre. They tell me that I'm a great story teller ... not sure how true this iis but it's kind of them. Publishing is not on my mind as I know the plethora of novels that are not even considered. This is a project I have always wanted to do ... for myself! Wow! It will be a bonus if someone else enjoys reading it as well. A realist ... I have bought your sequel from Kindle ... love the aside comments ... your writing is so easy to enjoy.

I'm so glad you liked Australia ... there is great competition between Melbourne and Sydney. Two very different cities ... both beautiful in their own way. I live in Melbourne where the weather changes seasons in a day, nonetheless, it offers the best of everything. You would love Melbourne Zoo. I'm told it's better to visit at night with a torch (flash light). The animal world comes to life! And by the way, it's all about experiencing the world of animals in their natural habitat. Therefore, no digital enhancement of any kind.

    Thank you for your kindness.

Liz, would love your advice ... I would like to put pen to paper and write a first novel. As a teacher of senior years, I have many stories to share and an imagination to match! Hesitant to just begin ... what should I do?

I live in Australia ... a very beautiful country with many good hearted people. Or is this a reflection of myself?

Hope to hear from you soon!
