I am a software engineer for a large company in the Seattle area.


I enjoy science fiction, military, space opera, and historical fiction from a wide variety of authors.

I mostly read using the Amazon Kindle software now on my phone or tablet, but I used to have a large library of books before I moved. I gave away several book cases worth of books to my local library, only keeping the signed or rare editions.

I find it scary that so few kids these days read books. I am quite proud of the fact that each of my kids read several books a month. I hope that is a habit they keep throughout their lifetime. « less
