    read 'the moonstone' by wilkie collins. t.s. eliot called it 'the first, greatest english detective novel.' holmes and watson originated with cuff and betteredge. hysterically funny.

    I couldn't figure out how to accept you--I think. Just making fun of your books because I knew I wouldn't be able to be obnoxious to any parents at night conferences. I've actually read pretty much everything on your list. Ever read 'The Golden Compass?'
