I know I'm not on here much anymore, most of my reading these days relates to school. I'm trying to read a few books a month for pleasure, just to get my mind to switch gears.
I love me some books. They are delicious, yum yum.
You can generally tell what I am reading or have just read by what is at the top of my shelf.
Well, growing up I read more John Saul, Dean Koontz, Little House on the Prairie, Judy Blume, Beverly Cleary, Trixie Belden, Sweet Valley Twins and High, V.C. Andrews, R.L. Stine and Christopher Pike books than I care to list. I've also been a member of a great book club for about a year and a half. It's an eclectic group of ladies who meet once a month. We've all forced each other to read things that we might not have otherwise picked up, and have found some GREAT books because of it! That's the beauty of a book club.
I love to travel, and my favorite city in the U.S. is probably San Francisco. But my appreciation for NYC is slowly growing each time I visit. I have two lovely children who keep me very busy, and I WILL be turning in my application by the end of the year to start my MSW in the Fall of next year. Outside of the kiddos, I'm very social. I like the theatre, ballet, dancing, and just generally being with my friends and family. I love to work out, particularly aerobics, more specifically, Jazzercise. I hate repetitiveness.

It seems like this is a growing trend on Shelfari, author self-promotion. I can appreciate that, this is the audience. But I'd rather not be added as a friend for self-promotion's sake. Leave me a note, I love to get them. I choose my friends based on something about them or their shelves that catches my eye. I hope you do the same!
