I am an author, recently published my first novel, Jane of the Jungle, which is a finalist in the Foreword Book of the Year Awards (yeah!).

I live a double life: by day I am a clinical social worker, wandering the minds of the mad, the bad, and the totally unbelievable. I can be found in mental health clinics and bad neighborhoods. The rest of the time, I am a writer of wildly imaginative and sometimes surreal stories, no doubt fueled by my day job.

I am a rabid baby boomer, believe in aging disgracefully and living out loud for the second half of life. In fact, I call this Life 2.0 and believe deeply that it can be as intense - or more so - than the first half of life.

I live in the mountains outside of Albuquerque, New Mexico with my husband and small herd of dogs and cats. « less
