I'm the admin for Author, Author which you recently joined . . .and I just had to ask, are you the same Janet Fitch that read White Oleander??? It doesn't say so in your profile so I wasn't sure.

If you are, I'm really excited because I LOVED White Oleander (it's marked as a favorite on my shelf), and I'm definitely going to get Paint It Black (had no idea you had another book out).

Author, author is a small group that I run here, but you really should join us at Play Book Tag (the other group I am an admin for). It's much bigger and busier with very, very serious readers. The type of readers who really influence others with blogs and book clubs and the like.

At any rate, I'll add my welcome to Cindy's (below) and admit I'm a little starstruck!!

Hi Janet! I'm from the Author Author group and just wanted to welcome you to our group. February's "featured" author is Jane Smiley, and we have two "secondary" authors, James Michener and Geraldine Brooks.
