Hi again! I actually have Geek Love in my tbr. I found a copy at a library sale right before I had to move for my job. I'm looking forward to getting all settled and unpacked so I can get to the bulk of my books. :) I have not read The Thirteenth Tale yet either. I do have it on the nightstand waiting to be read, though. :) I heard Flirting With Forty is being made into a movie. Congrats on that!

    Hi Jane,
Just wanted to let you know that I really enjoyed Odd Mom Out. My sister loaned me The Frog Prince so that's on my stacks to read soon. I'll have to keep an eye out for your other titles.

Oh, and I guess I should give some recs in the genre I write in as well--SF/Fantasy Romance. ;) Linnea Sinclair is awesome. My favorite is Finders Keepers and Down Home Zombie Blues, but all of them are excellent. Ann Aguirre's Grimspace is fabulous. If you know and liked the show Roswell, from a few years ago with the absolutely delicious Jason Behr, you might like my book as well. : )

First, can I just tell you how much I LOVE Flirting with Forty? Four years ago, my husband took me to Hawaii for the first time. I didn't want to go, being a pale redhead who burns easily and is not into outdoor activities at all (I'm a natural born klutz). Once I got there, I couldn't get enough of it. The air, the ocean, the people, everything. I think about going back, like, every day and I re-read Flirting with Forty every time I need a "dose" of Hawaii. : )

    Okay, recommendations:
I see you've got Countess Below Stairs on your list. Haven't read that one yet, but I love the Speak imprint. It's YA. Sarah Dessen writes for them, and I adored The Truth about Forever and Just Listen.

I also liked Good Girls by Laura Ruby, another YA. Names My Sisters Call Me by Megan Crane was, of course, fabulous. Been There, Done That by Carol Snow is another of my favorites!

If you decide to give any of these a whirl, let me know what you think! :)

Hello, Jane, it's great to meet you. I also was a HS English teacher before starting my new life as a Library Goddess, and I also have 2 boys (21 & 15). I love the classics, also, but I haven't added too many to my shelf because it's been quite a while since I've read them. I'll probably be retiring from teaching in about 5 years, and I plan to make going back to the classics my retirement project.

    Hi Jane ~
Thanks so much for the invite, and congratulations to you on a successful publishing career! I worked in publishing a million years ago and understand how difficult it is to become a successful author. Kudos to you! I adored Odd Mom Out and look forward to reading more of your work and chatting with you.
