You wrote me.... MY ROCK STAR!!

I haven't started your book because my Mom read it, and saw the movie. She is a BIG FAN of yours, but she said it was totally "A NEVER POSSIBLE," fantasy. Heather Locklear (TOTALY HOT...DUH) needs a DATE? WTF?? I WAS PUT OFF. I need some realism. I'm not "flirting with forty"... I'm puckering-up, in a noncommittal, bald-head lock, ready to "suck face" and exchange ancient, Cro-Magnon DNA" with a forty year-plus... mummy (assumable dentures of course!!) ARG! That was painful! I'll be 39 in December!!! I just shed a dried-up, petrified tear at that. I'm like a wrinkled-up prune (dried plumb for Political correctness).

Being old BITES my dusty butt!! I feel like I'm still 25. I'm VERY immature. Does that count?? I still laugh at common fart and poo jokes!! I am SOO juvenile! YEAH!

Hi Jane, congratulations! A boy or a girl? I love girls, they are so much more fun than boys-- smile-- at least that is our opinion. But of course every child is a great gift from God. So enjoy your time with the baby. My brother had a babygirl last year and it is a shared baby. Our kids, my sis and me, are already 15 and 27, so we really enjoy being there again, at that stage in life, where you can pamper and cherish and love and cuddle and smell... o yeah.
    enjoy.

  • The Ancient One

    The Ancient One says

    Live this Day

"Live this day as if it will be your last. Remember that you will only find "tomorrow" on the calendars of fools. Forget yesterday's defeats and ignore the problems of tomorrow. This is it. Doomsday. All you have. Make it the best day of your year.

The saddest words you can ever utter are, "If I had my life to live over again." Take the baton, now. Run with it! This is your day!

Beginning today, treat everyone you meet, friend or foe, loved one or stranger, as if they were going to be dead at midnight. Extend to each person, no matter how trivial the contact, all the care and kindness and understanding and love that you can muster, and do it with no thought of any reward. Your life will never be the same again."

Jane, your writing is very intriguing to me. When I pick up one of your books, it is very difficult for me to put back down until I get to the end. I'm sure the schools you taught at miss you dearly, you are probably one of the few that students would remember and talk about for years. Though as a fan of your publishings, I'm greatful that this is your genre now. Thanks for the hours of enjoyment. Judean

Hi, Thank you for adding me to your friends list. I live in South America - Suriname - and it is difficult to find nice books. They tend to be very pricey! I Loved Flirty with Forty! As I work at the postoffice I ordered mine through e-commerce!
I had read an excerpt in a magazine, not sure it it was GH or BHG, any way, I could not stop reading and searched for the next episode, and lucky enough at the bottom it referred to a website, where you could read more about the book and the writer. My compliments for putting all these real feelings down on a piece of paper.
I could very much relate to the story and the characters. It reminded me a bit of a movie called "How Stella got her groove back", which is about a woman (divorcee) turning forty and vacationing on the Island of Jamaica. It was very good.
I did not see the movie "Flirting with Forty", but will look for it in our DVD shops.
Have not read Frog Prince yet. Will purchase it soon.
    See you..
