Joseph edited the themes of The Legend of the Angelic, with Starless Skies Wednesday, November 21, 2012.

    • Added a theme: Tzadkiel's trials: This seems to be part of a theme that continues throughout the book; that you can't count on the gods, destiny, or authority to play fair, and that the only way to go through life is to be the best you can be in everything you do.
    • marked the description of Tzadkiel's trials as not a spoiler

    • marked the description of Raven as not a spoiler
    • Added a character: Gwyneth: A human ranger, Raven's wife. Nobody knows what the mirthful Gwyneth sees in Raven, but everybody is glad that she's there. She's kind of motherly and takes care of everyone under her watch. Her skills with plants are second to none outside of medicine.
    • marked the description of Gwyneth as not a spoiler
    • Added a character: Crinson: Taberdeen's young human apprentice. He's mute but makes up for it by having a vibrant inner world. Everything about this character seems almost surreal.

  7. The Legend of the Angelic, with Starless Skies

Joseph edited the summary of The Legend of the Angelic, with Starless Skies Monday, October 29, 2012.

    • The book starts out with Arachiel and Tzadkiel going in and getting an amulet from a night elfin city called Daerz'ibon. Within the amulet is contained the spirit of Cal Ome, the Dark One. On their way back from Daerz'ibon, they are captured and the Dark One is accidentally released and enters the bodies of the princes of Sor. When Taberdeen answers a summons to the Kingdom of Sor, he finds nothing but treachery. He winds up taking two seemingly innocent babies from the King of Sor and begins his quest to protect them from the world.
While Arachiel and Tzadkiel were on their quest, Arachiel contracted a disease from which he dies. Tzadkiel goes to the Realm of Light to find a way to revive him, and is separated from his body when he tries to take it by force. While he was separated, a demon enters his body and puppeteers it without the knowledge of anyone else. Tzadkiel beseeches the gods for assistance and is given the chance to re-obtain his body if he can pass through a series of trials. On the way he finds out that Arachiel had not been dead after all, and manages at last to retrieve a corporeal form. A group of assassins wind up at Raven's safe-house looking for Taberdeen. They eventually revealed that they had been sent by Tzadkiel who was now running the Kingdom of Sor. When Taberdeen gets to Sor, however, he unravels the mystery and sends for aid in the form of the Legends of Kori - a group of well established heroes - to help him with the threat of the demon king. While they are there, Abaddon crashes the party and enlists the demon inside of Tzadkiel. Lor manages to banish Abaddon, but not for long. The demon and the wizard battle, at the end of which Lor is dead and Abaddon is banished a little more permanently.

  8. The Legend of the Angelic, with Starless Skies

Joseph edited the description of The Legend of the Angelic, with Starless Skies Monday, October 29, 2012.

    • The book is set in a fantasy world that's like a disc with different Kingdoms attuned to different elements spread out on opposite sides. The world is vast and full of little cities all within one of the Great Kingdoms' territories. There's a lot of different races of humanoids and many different monsters. A big portion of this book happens in the afterlife, which is established as a way-point between life and nonexistence. There are many different dimensions in this book, with the main story happening in two or three of them.
