My shelf primarily holds the books I have written along with a few others. I’m a cancer survivor who has been writing novels that are set on the fictitious Prairie Winds Golf Course high atop the Mississippi river bluffs just east of St. Louis, MO in southern Illinois.
YA readers, both genders and adults tend to be drawn to the story lines. My reoccurring characters often deliver social commentary about life in America. Anything from civil justice, cancer, discrimination, hypocrisy, real estate and politics is fair game from the eclectic cast of personalities that congregate in the clubhouse.
Feel free to join me @golfnovels or @JamesRossBooks on Twitter. Also feel free to visit my web site at http://www.authorjamesross.com/ or my blog at http://www.author-jamesross.blogspot.com/ plus I have a new Facebook Page at: http://on.fb.me/igT8Ou
The first three books are available through my publisher www.xlibris.com in e-book format and are good for Kindle, The Nook, Sony's Reader and the I-pad. Opur's Blade is available in e-format for the I-pad.
For 2011 I'm working on Pabby's Score. Feel free to discover how special needs children, dementia and Internet dating battle brilliant legal minds in a search for civil justice.
A little known piece of trivia about me is that I am a distant relative of Mark Twain. The mother of Samuel Clemens called my great, great, great, great grandmother Aunt Polly.
Due to demands on my time I have to be very selective in accepting group invitations.
