I have traveled to many places in the U.S., Mexico, Europe and Latin America. I have read a great many books and I am sure the list I have built here is woefully incomplete due to faulty memory. I am retired from the Aerospace industry where I was a Quality Engineer, and we recently moved from the beautiful Central Coast of California to our retirment home in Southeast Texas. So we are learning to be Texan, which is a different world and a different culture and lifestyle. I worked on many challenging and interesting projects over the years in California, Florida, Colorado, Tennessee and Utah.


I am a lifelong reading enthusiast. I have read all the books on my shelf, although I don't necessarily own them any longer. Too much room. My Reading List is books that I currently have in my possession and I will read whenever the mood strikes and time allows. I do not own any of the books on my wish list, so take that as a hint for future reference.

I hope to have some discussions about some of the interesting books, and perhaps discover some books that I want to read. My current interests in books has strayed from fiction, detective stories, to adventure and the great explorations. I also enjoy historical fiction after the form used by James A Michener and others. My most respected author is Professor Samuel Eliot Morison. « less
