“Probably my favorite of the Elvis Cole/Joe Pike novels, I've read this book at least twice. The dialogue is great, and the plot fantastic. This was Crais at the top of his game...and at the top of the genre. It manages to be entertaining and still keep a surprise or two for the end. I liked this style far more than his last few, which to me have gotten a bit too serious. ”
