I am a woman of many hats.

I teach writing-both composition and technical writing-at the university level. I am also a freelance writer and editor in a variety of genres, including scientific and technical writing, short fiction, poetry, and non-fiction.

In addition, I am an avid blogger and maintain a couple of blog sites, one more personal and mundane and the other a more "semi-professional" (for lack of a better term) one that covers a variety of subjects, including but not limited to website reviews, writing tips, art and film reviews, recipes, diet and exercise tips, and restaurant reviews.

I also create hemp and bead jewelry and dabble in some other art projects made from reclaimed and recycled objects. But my most important "title" is the shortest and sweetest: "Mom". « less
