When I was young, I read voraciously, often finishing off books in a matter of days....sometimes even in ONE! As I've grown older, there has been less time for reading and more time for working and raising a family. It's really been only over the last several years that I've regained that passion of reading again. Returning to school has really helped to spark that for me as well as all my friends who are "book junkies" just like me. Now I can't NOT go to the bookstore at least once a week and buy something that catches my eye. All I know is that I have a lot of reading to do!!! What inspires me even more is the fact that my kids LOVE going to the bookstore just as much as I do, and my oldest reminds me of when I was her age, always with my nose in a book whenever the chance came up. She also LOVES the library....she's only 13 so we think she may not be quite right....LOL. My younger daughter loves history and especially Egypt as well as several anime series and my son....well....he used to LOVE dinosaurs but now he lives and breathes Pokemon....to the point where he has mastered the statistical variations of hundreds of characters. Did I mention he likes math too?......OY!
