I am an avid reader of many types of books. I am a member of the Goodreads gang and member on Book Blog.
I love to find new authors to read about on all the wonderful Blog Review sites and have a passion for discovering, promoting and entering book giveaway contests. It is a nice way to get free reads but more importantly connects me to others who love reading the way I do, nonstop and for a lifetime.....
I have the most wonderful little cats as pets, 1 Calico Tabby who is now 7 years old and 1 Tomcat who is 5. I also have the craziest little 11 year-old male Chihuahua who is my buddy and companion. My Mother and I and my Husband live in the Lost Pines area of Central Texas in Bastrop County and it is a beautiful and deadly area in the summer because of fire hazard when dry. The springtime in our part of Texas is absolutely stunning in its vibrancy, when things start greening up and flowers start to bloom it is a truly lovely place to live. Summers can be harsh and dry as the last couple of years were, Fall time is not so bad. Winter can be warm mostly and when we do have cold in the beginning of December-January it comes in hard and fast and leaves the same way....
I like to travel within the state of Texas as many wonderful things to see and do, love the Mountains in Colorado and the beaches in Florida.....
I hope to meet people who like the same kind of books I do and maybe make some friends..... « less
