Jace, I didn't enjoy Night Drifter at all. It was torture just to finish it. I've gone on to the last book, Midnight Bride and its BY FAR the best of the three books, IMO. The first book wasn't bad, I hated the second and the third (more than 1/2 way through now) is really good. In Night Drifter I didn't like the hero at all (selfish and immature) and the heroine didn't have much spine plus, I thought she was whiney. It's hard to get through a book when you don't like the characters. :-(

    Hi Jace,

The Bride Finder was pretty good. Not excellent. The RT boards gave it 4.5 Stars(G). I would give it just a 4. I was expecting a gothic tale but to me is was a historical with some paranormal in it and the story was okay. It did have a old castle in it but it wasn't a dark tale or anything like that. Maybe it was just me because I was expecting something different. Other people have rated it higher than I have. I do have The Night Drifter here but I haven't decided if I'll read right away.

    Hi Jace,

I can't remember who it was that recommended The Bride Finder by Susan Carroll on the RT boards. Did you ever read it? I read half of it today and I'm enjoying it.

    Hey Jace,

I got my copy of Driven in the mail today. I asked someone how they got it early and they said they review books so they received an advance copy. I'm about 50 pages in and enoying it. Really different from what I'm used too but I like it.

After I'm done this I'll get my butt in gear and read the Julia Quinn book for the book club. I see you've already read it. Did you like it? We're just starting harvesting here so I'll be spending about 12 hrs a day for at least two weeks (weather permitting) in the grain truck. Not my favorite job and I"m a nervous driver. It's a damm big truck to me! I'm just not a farm girl. Anyhow, I'll get it read in there for sure!

    Have a good weekend!

Thanks for the add. I saw your note on the RT forum. Anyway, I do like Mary Stewart and counted cross stitiching.
