I credit my parents with my love of reading. When I was a child, they enacted a Reading Time policy. Every night before bed, I was to read for 30 minutes. I always ended up reading for much longer than that though as I begged them to let me stay up longer enough to "finish this chapter". Now, as a full-grown adult who has winged my way out of the nest, reading before bedtime is still a nightly tradition. « less
