Love my husband, my 6 year old daughter. Retired Air Force, still work for the gov't. I love my life. Winning the lottery would be sweet. Could then afford the house with the library and sewing room and swimming pool and personal trainer who would make get out to the pool and the gym.

Dear IYam: You have a very eclectic book shelf. I thought, as retired military and a lover of a good action book, you might enjoy my new novel HUNTING THE KING. The story revolves around a charismatic young woman named Molly O'Dwyer. Molly was five years old when she witnessed her mother die in a fire. She never knew her father. After her mother’s death, she was raised on the campus of a Jesuit college. Now an archaeologist, she has been recruited to participate on a dig in war torn Iraq. As a scientist she is compelled to discover whatever or whoever is buried under the sands of ancient Babylon. As an observant Catholic, she is scared that whatever she finds will have devastating consequences for her faith. There is a wonderful YouTube book trailer well worth watching if you have the chance. If you do get to see, please let me know what you think. Thanks. Peter

I realize I'm not great at this group reading thing but the Dog Days discussion is finally on at the Paranormal Mystery group. Just FYI since you expressed interest.

Hello there, my friend! Thank you for joining the Chiller (a Realm of Horror) group! I hope you will frequent our group and let us peek into your head. I am always eager to learn what others think about what works and what doesn't in regards to horror.

    See you soon! =)

I would love to be your book buddy. I am not getting that much reading done but there are alot of books that I want to read. I am actually even interested in Barbara Walters book and I usually don't do non-fiction autobiographies.

I do understand! I still think more than one person writes under the Roberts name as she is so prolific. Dont know if you have read the Deadly books by Linda Lael Miller yet- they are her paranormal and I really enjoyed them.

I am getting together a packet to send to my Broomfield friend now. She was to come visit this month but has to cancel. Now we are trying to go to Denver in June/July to see her and the Renfest in Larkspur. Have you been to that?

I saw your post on LL Foster - I do read Lori Foster as well and she puts fun into her romances while being a good story teller. If you ever decide to try the dreaded romance genre - she is a good bet.

So glad to hear that you enjoyed The Tunnels, and I hope you get a chance to read Boneyard, too! I actually just finished Karen Slaughter's book Indelible, which I definitely recommend, it was the first of hers that I've read but I was really impressed by it. Also very much enjoyed Scott Smith's The Ruins, although I see that a movie based on the book has just been released, and based on the trailer it looks like they might have ruined what was a fascinating story. But the book was excellent.
