“There is no such thing as a moral or an immoral book. Books are well written, or badly written. That is all.” ~Oscar Wilde

I'm here by invitation of my daughter, Karajane, who has been a wonderful reader since she was old enough to hold a book! Between her sister, she and I, we must have read a million books.... more »

Hey, what did you think of the Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao? I thought it was a great book.

I see your shelf includes Wings in the Desert. A non-birding friend just recommended it. I'm reading Birdwatching with American Women (got it at the library) which I think you would enjoy. See you this Saturday, I hope.

Hi Inez, You look good . I'm at Johnny and Patrick's house. I've been here since the 26th of March and I'm leaving the 28th of May. I'm having a agood time . They are good to me . I was even thinking of moving here, but I don't know how I would handle missing my grandchildren.. That might just give me an excuse for going to PA. for a visit. I miss them very much now. I have to get back to reading, I don't have a first edition to the book I read The Lost Boy . It is a good book ,but I think I should read the first one and then read the one I have and then get the third one. I'm glad to hear from you . take care and if you can give me some idea's of some books that I should read. Thanks Avva50

I am reading Breaking Back by James Blake, the tennis pro. You have to like tennis (and him) a good bit to enjoy the book, although it is an interesting story of his comeback and courage after breaking his back/neck.
