I will start by saying that "The Master and Margarita" by Mikhail Bulgakov has been my favorite book at least 5 years now (that says a lot since I read quite a bit!).
I have moved from Europe to United States in 2005. Do not know yet for how long but most definitely for few years. I graduated First Independent University in Poland in 2005 and got my masters degree in Public Administration.
Well, I joined Shelfari to find out what to read next. Mostly I look for opinions, reviews, suggestions and advice of what is fascinating, amazing, worth knowing etc. From my side I would love to share with you my love for Eastern European and Russian classic lit. Dostoevsky, Pushkin, Bulgakov, Lermontov are just few names I highly recommend. When Russians ask you who your favorite poet is they will often add a "Besides Pushkin, of course."
To sum up: I just love reading. This allows me to escape from the crummy reality that hits me every now and than.
I also love skiing, eating sushi and listening to the European radio stations.
ps. I found it somewhere: " An entire world comes alive with a good book ".. And that is exactly what I agree with.
IMPORTANT : Please do NOT request my friendship if we don't have anything in common. Note, we can discuss anything without being friends. Thank you in advance.
