My name is Iris Bolling. I'm the author of, "Once You've Touched The Heart" and "The Heart of Him". My passions are reading (especially romance novels), writing, sports and politics. When I discovered AA authors not to long ago I lost my mind. I went to my library and borrowed so many books, the Liberian thought I was crazy. I went back two... more »

Iris, thankf ro the kind words. I'm so glad you are enjoying my books. I definitely be writing Troy and George's story. Both books will be out in 2011. I have next year to write them and the are already contracted.

In 2010, I'll have two books out. In June, By Her Command, a novella in an anthology for Parker Publishing and WHISPERS AT MIDNIGHT, book three in my Buchanan Brothers series (Daniel's story). I also want to do Jared's story. Jared is Kyle's companion in TO LOVE A KNIGHT. So you can see I'm going to be busy in the next year writing.

Thanks for your note. Now, I'm back to finish work on By Her Command. It's due on Wednesday!

I loved Turk's taste of freedom. He needs to be totally free. LOL. But my favorite part was the scene where Cynthia and Samuel were on the run from those crooked cops and Joshua showed up and Samuel almost shot him. When Joshua said, "Big brother if you shoot me I'm going to tell mom," I cracked up. Please tell me Joshua is getting a book soon. And please tell me that Ryan is going to be his heroine... LOL.

Also, I have many, many, many, many books and I am going back to the library to borrow books. I will only be purchasing those of my favorite authors and books that I will read over and over again. I WILL BE PURCHASING ALL OVER YOUR BOOKS, not only because I want to support you -- which I do-- but because they are good reading! Simply delicious. Additionally, within the next month, I plan for them to be on the library circulation here in Chicago which they are not currently. People that I have told of them, I want them to be able to go, check them out and read them before they purchased all of them. I am confident, after number one, they will be purchasing. I am also working on Maryland as I have told my sister and two friend that are there about them as well.

That humbleing to hear and you are absolutely correct....I GET INTO STORIES. When I say I escape I mean that, I drop into stories just like Alice dropped into Wonderland. I get complete engrossed, engaged, emotional and enlightened by them and good writers, like yourself, tap into and emplore on all of these elements.

Consider this, Braenda Jackson Has two series that have went on forever and her avid readers LOVE THEM. We are rabid about her book and our book stores know it. The Madaris Family and the Westmorelands are the families and I OWN EVERYTHING THAT SHE HAS EVER WRITTEN. So, don't feel that you would if you ware them out as for the Lassiters, because we would gobble them up. If I may make a suggestion, put feelers out and see what feed back you get.

I Like the idea of branching Opal off into another series you are writing called "The Barringtons".

No, I do not think Cynthia's choice would have been different if she knew about Samuel's duties for his country but her choice would have been complete and this is where Samuel was wrong as he should have informed her. Now Brian is going to say "I warned you about this" and he did without break confidence but she did not know of nor understand the degree of the "other side" of him. But she'll get over it if she true to the "new chararacter" that she has been presented as or should I say that has been revealed.

I can see that quiet strength in them as well and that wonderful sense of family. I thank you so much for that and that is usually the occurance in large family. I do read to escape and am drawn to those families that put family first and foremost as that is who I am. And no, family is not only biological. I love their quiet strenght and you showcased it very well adn subtly....most may read past it but once I am into something as you can see, I get all up in their. How did you only pick those five Lassiters (Diamond, Pearl, Joshua, Phire and Adam) to write about? Why not them all and then their parents?

I LOVE TURK.......I can so understand and identify with him and the way he took care of Tracy solified him to my heart FOREVER. Wish I had me a Turk. On top of that, making/forcing his people to go legit, DAMN what can I say....TOTALLY IN AWE OF. Turk is the man for sure. As for his part in this story, LOVED IT!! Ladyl....LOL, when him and JD was in that prison visiting room and JD told him you tell him no and he said I will, then broke and softened it (put the ball back on JD) I damn near peed myself. I laughed so hard, big bad assed Al "Turk" Day.....LOL, loved it. Simply loved it.

Woman, just count me as your number one fan because you got me hook, line and sinker. And every reader I know, knows of you now as I am thorougly engaged and impressed.

Now as for you last message, THANK YOU and I am surprised. Who am I to give an opinion? I am not blessed with the story writing ability that's why I depend on you authors to fulfill that void. But I DO KNOW WHEN SOMETHING IS GOOD......and Iris, you and your stories are beyond good. Yes, I am totally hooked. I so appreciate your confidence in my opinion, it warms my heart. Thank you.

Sally is a quiet, loving force to be reckoned with. So is their father. So far I am feeling all of them.

Yes, I do recognize that about Joshua and his respect for his brother and his skills but I foresee Samuel getting hurt or damn near and it's going to happen because his mind was with or on Cynthia probably du eot him still trying to keep this otehr side from coming to light to her. This is when Joshua is going to let her have the what for and open her eyes completely. Personally I feel that he should have shared that part of himself with her before they were married, he has now taken choice from her.

She is not going to handle his being away but eventually may grow too after some serious fallout. She's going to keep a latch in Brian (as her fall back) which should cause a problem between him his woman because Cynthia is an inconsiderate overbearing .... (I got to come up with a word). I see Samuel going completely out of form to still keep that side from her and Joshua putting it right in her face. Her andling of it is going to depend on when she "experiences" it. I remember that they are professional killers adn I am completely intrigued by Joshua.
