intoxicating

intoxicating

I will drink
Life to the lees...For always roaming with a hungry heart
Much have I seen and known, cities of men
And manners, climates, councils, governments...How dull it is to pause, to make an end,
To rust unburnish'd, not to shine in use!...To follow knowledge like a sinking star,
Beyond the utmost bound of human thought.

    Hi A...
Glad you returned safe n sound.
How was India? Were you there on a vacation? Official? I hope not official. lol
Which city? The reason of this curiosity is: I’ve been to India. Not sure if I told you or not. Yeh, I spent few days in Delhi and then some more days in Bombay (where I liked Colaba the most) and then embarked to Goa where I loved the beach, nice cafes and restaurants. Long ago… 2004

Rest is going on smooth… End of month and I got to finish up these reports and papers…

I would love to come to Johannesburg as I never learnt this name at school… hahaha
    Believe me.

I haven’t been to Johannesburg but this name has always been familiar to my ears coz in secondary school, I used to read crime novels and this city was mentioned in of the books I read at that time or better say a favorite cop of mine traveled to Johannesburg in search of a fugitive.

So yeh, I promise to let you know when I’m around :)

    Be safe N happy

    Hello again

    Thanks I’m doing well.

Sadly I didn’t have the chance to update my account on shelfari in the past couple of weeks as I was on a vacation in Caribbean.

The reason I asked if you still were in SA coz I had in mind to have a quick stop in Cape Town.
Though the plan didn’t work out: (

I see you have been reading a lot of great books as well.

Back in Caribbean, I managed to buy two of Gabriel Garcia Marquez’s masterpiece (One hundred years of solitude and Love in the time of cholera) and number of other books.

Though I tried to get Paulo Coelho’s Eleven Minutes, but couldn’t find it.

I see you are a huge fan of Paulo; no?

ani, its not serenity.. its paranoia.. this was 15th july, our staff day... i was hyper.. the apprehension of something going wrong.. i was heading the cultural committee.. and actually 2 of my models did not turn up for the fashion show.. then there was hazaar things to be taken care of... i participated in 3 confusions.. we the entire sales team rocked to 'we didn't start the fire' of billy joel.. then i had a part in a skit and danced to the song namak of omkara (i am a lousy dancer) and then as always management puts up some item numbers.. and again i danced to 'zara zara kiss me kiss me kiss me' :-) dont remind me any more... my son will disown me if he sees the videos...
