    My dear friend
We, the ones 40+ do not have the "electronic chip" that children are born with now a days. My sister has taught me about computers and my brother-in-law built me the awesome one I use right now. My grandchildren at four were printing and playing games. At 8, my granddaughter, Abbie know how to shop on line and has many Webkins. They just know how to run all of this stuff. I have heard, more than once, "Don't you know how to do that?" They are constructed differently. We were constructed to walk a mile each way to school!!!!! LOL

I am so very glad you did not have to resort to violence with the VCR. Does this mean you are ready to tackle a DVD that records? Or one of those new things that will copy our albums onto CD's? It does get frustrating and you have to wonder just why Bill Gates made so much money. Actually, my brother-in-law, built my computer and it is pretty fast and very cool. He builds them all of the time. He likes it. He really enjoys it. I will be going to see him in a few weeks in Houston and I know he will have one that he is buillding sitting in his office. I am glad you didn't have to do any tossing. You would have only had to replace it!!! Happy settling in.

    Hello
I was wondering if you were all settled now and back to normal? If not I suggest Chammomile tea and a nice foot soak with mineral salts followed with two scoops of your favorite ice cream and a couple of hours gazing at the night sky.

If that doesn't work, call me in the morning. LOL

There was a documentary shown about it here while I was on holiday, but have only just returned so have not had the chance to see it yet. Even if this is so and the skulls do have tool markinbgs it does not mean they are false anyway, since it is the inhabiting consciousness that is more important than the actual physical vehicle, in the same way that the human soul is more important than the body ...

    Hello again
I hope you had a Happy 4th of July. Mine was nice because I didn't have to work. I went to a local fair with friends and them to a music festival performed in an amazing outdoor pavilion. It was followed by fireworks which I videoed. I treated myself to a small and fairly inexpensive video camera for my birthday. My new toy. I have been a photographer, amateur for almost 30 years. It is one of my passions. :) So I hope you also had a nice day. I have been a widow for 13 years this August. I agree with you, the time did fly---and drag---all at the same time. It was so strange. He was only 56 when he passed. It was a shock for everyone. Well, I will say goodnight.

It is a fun one. Have you read the one about names? It is fun also. I don't understand people who don't like to read. I used to work with a gal who would buy antique books and place them around the house so they would look pretty. O well. i am so impressed you are 82. I am not even sure I want to be 82. I never thought I would make 21, 39, 45, 50 and now the Universw just laughs because the jokes on me. :) LOL
    Take good card.

I'm reading a book by Bart D. Ehrman called "Misquoting Jesus" about the translation and copying of the Bible and how it has been changed over the centuries.

Any recommendations for any of her books talking about Islam, Christianity or Hinduism? I just want to see what she says, and if her information is accurate or not.

I read your review. Sylvia must either know a lot about all those religions by reading their scriptures, or by listening to people.

I hope you are being careful in that heat. It can be dangerous. We just put in a new air conditioner, high efficiency, and it also cleans and dehumidifies the air. I have pulmonary fibrosis and have to have it to breathe.

I'd like to get another rescue dog, possibly a smaller one, but it wouldn't be fair to Joe. Because of my lung condition, I can't really do much of the walking, and he would like for us to start traveling more. Isn't it ironic that when our kids and pets are gone gasoline prices are too expensive. That's the way of the world.

Radar was so well-known in our neighborhood and from making our home visits that people stop us and ask about him. I put a memorial on line at www.goldribbonrescue.com/memorial/index.htm. He is the 4th dog after the poem, and if you click on his name you can read his adoption story.

How are you. It's been a while. We've had a heat wave in Texas since May 18, almost unbearable to go outside after 10 am.

My sweet dog Radar had a stroke and died in April. I miss him terribly. How are your cats?
