“This book is about a girl named Hidie, and her mentlely dissabled mom. Hidies mom can only say 32 words. One of those words was "soof". Hidie dosent know what "soof" means and it drives her crasy. One day when Hidie and Bernie (the lady who takes care of Hidie and her mom) found an old black and white photograph of Hidies mom and a few other people. There was a sighn that said "Liberty hill" so Hitie travles to wherever that place is and trys to learn more about her and her mothers past, not to mention the word "soof". A part I engoyed alot in this book was when Hidie was talking with her grandfather about what happend to her mother. I would reccomend this book to girls or woman who like sob storys (ms. larson);).”
