I'm a 33-year-old teacher/tutor and a former librarian. On average, I read 300 books a year. My favorite genre is mystery/thrillers, but I've branched out into lots of non-fiction as well.

Russian mob, stock market espionage, AIDS... I normally wouldn't be interested in a book that had these as major plot points, but this was different. The plot came together, though at times it was a little confusing, and ends with a satisfying conclusion.

The second in the Heather Wells mystery series, this book continues the saga of the former pop star and present-day dorm assistant. Like the first, the blend of chick lit and mystery is just right and the characters are terrific.

Great combination of mystery and chick lit! I love Heather, a former pop star turned dorm assistant. Her knack for falling into a mystery makes a great read.

A wonderful collection of true crime stories from Alaska. Definitely makes you think of Alaska in a different way!

This book is a classic! The movie, while good, can't hold a candle to the book. Berendt's experiences in Savannah and the cast of eccentric characters, as well as its underlying true crime, makes you want to read this book over and over again.

Great book! Written for a teen audience, but intriguing enough for anyone who loves ghosts and hauntings.

This book had lots of potential to be really good, but then it all sort of fell apart. I didn't care for the ending at all!
