Hello Kenzy S,
YOU are walking on Miami Beach in Florida; the sky is dark and threatening to rain. You see a handsome Egyptian man walking down the beach carrying a leather pouch over his right shoulder, he looks back anxiously, as if someone might be following him but when he does so he stumbles and falls, spilling the seeds in his pouch. Asim hurriedly picks up the seeds, counting them as he drops each one back into his case.
It starts to rain and he quickly rushes off, not knowing that he has lost a single seed. It starts to rain harder as you see something protruding from the sand, and then a beautiful red rose grows almost instantly. You must be seeing things.
You approach the rose and when you bend down to examine it something amazing happens.
“Quick,” says the rose. “Hide me before he comes back. I grant wishes and all the wishes he wants are evil ones. Please take me home with you.”
You dig up the flower and head back to your hotel.
Unrealistic or not my writing gives me hope. But with something like 50 000 books published every month it is a little discouraging. I didn’t think there were that many writers. But I continue to write and hope.
You have a nice shelf.
I hope you are reading lots of interesting books.
Knights of the Dragon:
Leander is under siege. It seems their wizard is dying. A dragon befriends a boy and hires knights to save his kingdom. Alexa is a match for any man, except perhaps for Stone; they’ve had eyes for one another for years, though neither will admit it. A dragon is born that turns out to be a wizard, a rare dragon indeed.
And there are whispers of a boy wizard.
It’s a tale of wizards, dragons, romance and knights.
Oh my gosh, yes. I really love Castle. And I know what you mean, I've got to see everything from the beginning, and I don't like to miss episodes. Like with Vampire Diaries right now, I haven't seen a couple back ones, so I haven't seen any of the brand new ones because of it.
Oh yeah! I like her too :]
I really like Andy Samberg as well.
Hmm. Well, I don't watch TV very regularly, but I do watch it. We have a DVR, so for the most part I'll tape stuff on there and then it'll really build up and I'll watch it all in one shot, or a couple. I like shows like...Heroes, Vampire Diaries, True Blood, Castle, Moonlight, Numb3rs, Criminal Minds [more so when Mandy Patkin was on it], Lost [though I haven't seen it in FOREVER...I need to catch up on it.] Seinfeld, SNL...but I like watching Disney channel too, and my favorite on there is Phineas & Ferb, and then Kim Possible, and Lilo & Stitch is good too. I watch History Channel a lot too, haha.
I don't know if I could give up television for good. If I miss a show, I'll look for it uploaded online.
Agreed. I love going to the show. Once I get a car and I have a job, I definitely plan on going more. Ahh, yeah. Our Web Design teacher is also my U.S History teacher, and he'd be my Algebra 2 teacher if I was in that class still. He teaches Computers, Government, and Calculus too. He's pretty cool, and he's pretty lax on us. The last thing we did was put out a newspaper and that was in February.
I don't feel very busy, and I like it, haha. Next year I'm planning on having a really laid back time too. That's too bad though :[
This is my second year at this school. The one before it I went to for 9 years, but they only went up to 9th, so I had to switch.
Math and science really suck :[
Well, I like to bake sweets for my friends, and I've recently gotten into sewing plushies. I like reading, watching movies, listening to music, that sorta thing. What about you?
Favorite subject...I dunno. I like my free periods, haha. But I like our Web Design, because we don't do anything. But for actual subjects, I'll go with English. Or our U.S. History that I'm in right now, though I like World History a lot more. You?
And eh, I don't like politics to be honest. But I'm not a huge fan of Oprah, or Sarah Palin either.
Gah, same here. I swear that we have the worst luck too with our internet. Something's always happening to it -_-;
Huh, I didn't know that x]
There's a girl at school who I'm kind of friends with, and she really likes her and has seen her live and still likes her. But ah well, to each his own.
Gah, yet again. Something I haven't seen/can't say I know enough to judge x.x
I plan to see it at some point though. Maybe I can catch it on TV sometime x]
Hmm. My favorite...gah. I dunno if I have a definite favorite. A trilogy though that I can literally watch over and over without getting sick of, is Jurassic Park. I just really love it for some reason. I also really love Hayao Miyazaki's films. I like romantic comedy. Action. Adventure. Plain old romance. Sci-fi. Fantasy. Some horror; it depends on what it's about/how much gore. Not huge on the gore xD
Just about anything to be honest. Though I don't really care for movies that deal with satanic/devil kinda stuff because it freaks me out too much, and I don't care for movies about sports really because I'm not a sports person :S
Oh, that's cool :]
My best friend Dusty, she likes that one a lot too. It's good, I agree. Haha, maybe that's what it is.
Hmm. To be honest, I don't really have a preference. I've only heard a few of her songs, like that one with 'Romeo & Juliet' in the lyrics that they play on the radio. I kinda like that song, but I haven't heard enough of her music to decide if I really like her or not.
What about you?
Btw, sorry for the late reply! I was typing up my reply last night when my internet totally died and wouldn't come back :[
Yeah, I like it. I really like rhymes, so that's almost always how my poetry flows. I'm not really sure I can say I have any one person who's my 'inspiration'. I like what I've read from Edgar Allen Poe though, and I especially like his one called Annabelle Lee and then there's this other one called The Lady of Shalott that's by Alfred Lord Tenneyson that I just love in general. I think how he was able to get it to all flow so well and rhyme is pretty awesome.
I like fiction and fantasy stuff too, so I know what you mean. And wow, really? See, that's where I'm totally different. I'm a total sucker and a complete hopeless romantic, down to the core. My problem more is making it too romantic I think, haha :P
I always want to believe in happily ever after.
