This morning I'm discovering Shelfari for the first time and a chronic reader and book collecter, this is a perfect distraction for my passions and other vices.

A writer, a newspaper man for 20 years, a jazz musician, homeowner, slave to a 16 year old cat and single spirit floating through space and time and trying to soak up all the pages I can.

Books are three things; decor, tools and friends. I may find myself in the company of the latter.
