I am a voracious and eclectic reader and like most Shelfarians I have been that way since I was little. I am now a mother to a wonderful teenage son (who knows everything) and a 60lb retriever/collie that thinks she's a lapdog.

I have a tendency toward run-on sentences, misspelling and a bad memory.

My main reason for joining Shelfari is I loved the idea of viewing others bookshelves because I am always looking for a good book to read. So recommended books are always welcome, just drop me a note. I have a group called New Releases for those of us who browse the bookstores and libraries looking for a good read.
