I am married to a musician/pilot and I absolutely love teaching sophomore and senior English at an inner-city school in the central valley. It seems ironic that I have chosen to spend my days in high school when, in my youth, it was the one place I most wanted to escape.

    Not your "Twilight" vampires.

I have no clue how he's going to finish the series in two more books. It is an epic eries and it seemed like as long as the book was, little progressed in this book. Maybe it is a transitional book needed to set up the action that will take place, but I was hoping for more of a cliff hanger ending.

3 1/2 stars. I liked that this book was about the same catastrophe from a different perspective in an urban setting.

I'd give it 3 1/2 stars if I could. I love post-apocalyptic books. This reminds me of a tamer young adult version of The Road.

There were hilarious parts (esp. about adolescence and motherhood) and other parts that would only appeal to me if I was in the industry. It felt like it should have been much shorter.

Too many threads unresolved. Still a quick entertaining read.

I love me some royal intrigue, so this was an enjoyable read. This was a delightful factually-inspired, yet fictional tale of politics, mystery, and love. This was a fast paced read, and I look forward to the next in the series. It was also a very "clean" read for those who prefer less-sex and more-story.
