I am married to a musician/pilot and I absolutely love teaching sophomore and senior English at an inner-city school in the central valley. It seems ironic that I have chosen to spend my days in high school when, in my youth, it was the one place I most wanted to escape.

Actually, I just got started on the Twilight series. I had tried it about a year ago and didn't really like it, and now I have no idea why I felt that way. I've been ripping through them and am reading Eclipse right now. I have heard a lot of criticism about Breaking Dawn, but I am definitely going to read it and for some reason I have a feeling I'll like it. So you liked it?

Hi. I don't know if you remember me, but we talked about The Host before. I loved it, but I just heard that Stephenie Meyer was going to make it into a trilogy. I was pretty disappointed when I heard that because I thought that the book was great as it was and did not need to be elaborated and made into three books. Sorry this was all a bit random, but oh well. :]

Rhianna, I have been in maine all week. It is slightly chilly at 60-70, but crisp and lovely. Lobsterfest tonight...as much as I can eat! So far I have completed a few Sodukos, NYTimes puzzles, and read Alice Hoffman's Skylight Confessions, joined her reading group, and now into a Kellerman mystery which is excellent, Capital Crimes.

Still not done with it actually..
But it has a really creative storyline so far.
And it has the elements of a good sci-fi and a love story.
    Got my attention..lol
