No, history and political science are fascinating, but don't do much to rake in the big bucks, ya know? :0) I just read them for personal enrichment.What time period fascinates you most? Ancient history? American History? European? Asian? There are too many incredible books out there--you'll have to help me narrow down my recommendation!
Hey, thank you for the invite.As per horror I collect it more than I get to read it - sad huh. I have read many good ones, the new stuff that is out is on my shelf but I sit back and savor the thought of reading it for a while before I get to it. I have not read "It" yet but I liked the movie. The scarriest book I read was "Pet Sematary" by King, and I also enjoyed "Cujo", "Mysery" and "Salem's Lot". My favorite horror writer is Graham Masterton - few of his older books such as "Prey", "Pariah", "Tengu", "Picture of Evil" just to name a few were excellent. I also enjoy Patric R. Gated - his imagination is wild!
Hey! Looks like we actually have kind of a similar shelf! Right now I'm reading Phillip Pullman's "His Dark Material" series - the first one being "The Golden Compass". It's GREAT so far!! Apparently they are making a movie out of it that will be out this winter! Also, if you haven't read Neil Gaiman, start with Neverwhere. It's pretty good!! Have an awesome day!!!!
