    “I read this book as an education intern and I remember thinking to myself, "There's NO way this is still going on in 21st century America!"

    I went on to work in a Title I school and discovered, much to my dismay, that this title is every bit as relevant as the day it was written, perhaps even more so in light of the "No Child Left Behind" act, which further ravages low income schools.”
