    guess what?? i just met a professional astrologer.... and tried to understand the science behind reincarnation and destiny!!! it was so amazing to see all the calculations and all. one thing crossed my mind......... GOD IS SO CALCULATIVE!
    i talked to some souls last night....... i couldnt hear them... but i felt they were with me.... i was specifically talking to my to-be daughter... i know she was listening... she might have not reached that level of consciousness uptill now.... and may be in physical form somewhere... i dunno... but i think i connected with her!!!

    oh man! i am just so glad to be living this life.
    and i take this opportunity to thank you for coming in contact with me!

    Hi Mary, I have just returned from Toronto and oh my so many e.mails. Our lives are a little similar and it must be such a cultural shock for you leaving California for Columbus, Ohio. I will be going to Santa Rosa maybe end of August beginning of September so will see if I can visit the places you have mentioned. Oh I hate this new shelfari it was not here when i left and now feel I can not find anyone or anything. I will write more next time but must answer all the mails. Take care, Sheila

    Mary that was a good summary fo the Aurora Bridge and I was born in England lived there for thirty years so it must be up there with Seattle Norway and Sweden, they sure get a lot of gray rainey days there. I talk to my sister every weeks and she gets really down in the winter. But our 90 degree summers get me down, hope as soon as my husband retires we will be off to Santa Rosa in California where the temps are more moderate.

    look for clues while im a awake? I am so absent minded, i would never see them. I have tried before but its hard. i feel that when im awake my mind manipulates the way i interpret signs. in my dreams its as if my mind has no control and the message is clear.

    Mary,
    On my life journey, I have gone from devout Catholic (up to age 15) to doubting Catholic (ages 15-17) to one who was desperately seeking the truth (ages 17-22) to calmed down agnostic coping with family and job in a humane way (22-55) to retiree with very part time job responsibilities thereby having time to calmly seek what is true for me (age 55 to present age of 59).
    If I had to label myself today, I would say that I am a seeker, I am a spirit having a human experience. During my seeking hibernation (ages 22-55) when I lived with “I don’t know what it’s all about and I don’t think I ever will” philosophy, I just put the whole religion/spirituality aspect of my life on the “back burner”. At that time in my life journey, I didn’t even consider whether I had a spirit.
    I feel that everyone lives his/her own life journey and that we have no right to judge another’s beliefs unless those beliefs infringe on us personally.
    I have read Tolle’s book and am participating in the web casts to further my journey. I am taking aspects from the book and web casts that resonate with me. I am not one who considers Tolle, Christ, Muhammad, Dali Lama, and others as gurus that I would blindly follow, yet I realize that there are those who do.
    My hope for this Seekers thread was that those of us who have been interested in reading Tolle’s book and viewing the web casts could discuss them with each other to gain better understanding and to, hopefully, grow spiritually. I did not hope that it would be a site to proselytize Tolle’s beliefs nor to condemn them.
    Furthermore, I am surprised and disappointed that more people have not participated in discussions on this thread.
    Lastly, in your first post on the Tolle Seekers thread, you said something that totally confused me. You said, “I noticed that the people on Oprah's interview included recient inductees of Scientologist members.” What interview was that? Is there an Internet site you can refer me to that discusses this? Please expound. I have tried to find information on this and have been unsuccessful.

    Hi Mathetes! Looks like we have a lot of reads in common, some groups, not, but that's okay. I like a diverse group of friends! I am a big "Harry" friend. I even have a English version first edition in my shelf! I covet that one, sorry! Your an Aussie, cool. I am a BIG Dame Lindsey fan. I was able to get "Picnic at Hanging Rock" but not the sequel, which is hard to find. Yes, I have read the sequel, and I do believe in the Never Never. I have a freind who lives in Brisbane, who finally got her Masters in English at Ohio State University, we suffered together. Well, that's me.
