I've written 7 novels, three self-published. The first saga is about horse racing (Hope of Glory), a comprehensive look at the sport in which I spent over 30 years of my life.

Thanks for your response. I too am a bit old fashioned. I love books and also find the electronic version uncomfortable. None-the-less, the world turns and change is inevitable. I used Smashwords to create a digital version of my first novel. It was a bit tedious, but quite effective; and free.
As an author I'm fairly eclectic. I'm currently drafting a YA novel that may become the first of a series. I'm working final draft of a novel of historical fiction; the story of three young men who's lives were drastically altered by the African slave trade in the late 17th century. I am also hawking a completed novel of Biblical fiction, part of a series called, "By The Book". Thanks for your interest.
    How about you, Nicole?

I’m curious to know how many, or approximately what percentage of the books on your shelf of 418 are e-books? Do you own an e-book reader?

I live on the east side of the Cascades in beautiful wine country. I love reading books...have a WIP, but haven't been diligent about working on it in a while...between work and family, it has been difficult.

Hi - I noticed that you have some Susan Meissner books on your shelf. She is going to be the featured guest on my Blog Talk Radio show tomorrow (May 1). Here's a little info:

This week’s guest on GOD UNPLUGGED is author and speaker Susan Meissner. Susan is a multi-published author, speaker and writing workshop leader with a background in community journalism. Her novels include the Rachael Flynn Mystery series as well as A Window to the World, named one of 2005's top ten Christian fiction novels by Booklist magazine. Her latest book, Blue Heart Blessed, was released by Harvest House in February 2008. This compelling story is about the magnificence of unconditional love and God’s impeccable timing in bringing it about. Susan will share her testimony, her journey becoming a published author and share her insight on God’s unconditional love.

During each episode of GOD UNPLUGGED I chat with famous authors, actors, athletes and recording artists about their faith. The 60-minute show airs every Thursday at 12 noon Central time (1 p.m. Eastern, 11 a.m. Mountain, 10 a.m. Pacific). Callers are welcome to ask questions during the show by calling (347) 324-5425.

You can also listen online and ask questions via the chat room by visiting http://www.blogtalkradio.com/godunplugged..

Busy on Thursday – DON’T WORRY! You can listen to the interview 24x7 by visiting the archives. You can also hear the recorded show on the homepage of my website www.HesReal.com.

It would be great if you could join us for the discussion!
