I am a wife and mother and an author of 5 historical romances and 2 women's fiction books. I read to relax and not think about everyday things. I'm crazy about movies and probably am on Facebook too much for my own good but I have fun connecting with old and new friends! Check out www.hollybushbooks.com to read excerpts.

This one is in my top ten. There was just something magical and wonderful about their love affair.

My third all time favorite Balogh. The heroine is a spinster mistress of the school she owns and the hero is gorgeous and smooth. Think Clooney. There's a great tie in to the 'Slightly' series that I love.

Frejya's story. Beautifully done with a surprising hero to Frejya's strong temperment. But it works well and shows a particularly close relationship between her and Wulfric, her eldest brother the Duke, whose book is last in the series.

My second all time Balogh favorite after Slightly Dangerous. The first of the series, Balogh had me at hello. Aiden, second son of the Bewcastle clan, is back from fighting Napoleon and there begins a story that is beautifully told with characters you will remember in each book.

My all time favorite, the crowning jewel in her 'Slightly Series', Balogh brings Wulfric Bedwyn, heretofore lurking in the background, but influential nonetheless, of the first five books to life and closes the Bedwyn family loop. The heroine, lower gentry, with some ugliness in her past, bursts onto the scene and into Wulfric's life. As typical of Balogh's books there are scenes and phrases I could repeat with little effort if for no other reason than the words are eloquent, however the emotion found in those words are what makes them memorable.

This is passionate, beautifull written book with complex characters and emotions.

Another terrific Balogh, this one in the 'Mistress' series about Tresham's sister with the outrageous hats, Angela.
