How is King George VI's reincarnation possible? I mean, is he part of a paranormal cult or something?

Hi AK, sorry I didn't see this request til now. I am also interested in history, of course, but maybe even more in the Philosophy of History, or how a writer views the past and assembles their views. Welcome to Shelfari.

I wasn't questioning whether your first name is real or not.
My daughter knows of someone in her former high school by the name of America too.
I just didn't know if this was a promotional group or something.
I've been getting a lot of those lately and it's getting annoying.

Talking about reincarnation is too close to one of the subjects I try to avoid: religion.
I hope you don't mind if I skip on that discussion.

    Greetings!
Thank you for the Shelfari friendship request - - I'm honored to accept. Just curious, are you on Shelfari as an individual, or representing the History Awareness Society?

    No offense intended but ...
Is this a promotional group of some kind or a real person?

Hi Annette. I'm from the Author Author group and wanted to welcome you to our group. July’s "featured" author is Alice Hoffman, and we have two "secondary" authors, Mary Higgins Clark and David Baldacci. If you're interested, you can choose a book written by any (or all!) of these three authors, and after you've read it, please come post a review and star rating so the rest of us in the group know what you read and whether you liked it or not. Happy Reading!

Hmmmm.... What I can only assume about you.... You are a mid-twenties to mid-thirty year old black male who enjoys rap music, history and women. You just joined within the past 30 days and have already collected 154 "friends"..... I don't necessarily believe that you are in Manhattan, considering you joined the Houston group.... As in the CITY not the street in Manhattan pronounced, "House-ton".... You like, and appreciate a good wine or beer every now and then...… You don't rate your books nor do you give any sort of review, so therefore I must ask myself.... "Have you really indeed read these books upon your shelf?"

I shall need some more information in order for me to make an educated decision as to whether we are compatible associates. I look forward to your response, and hope you have a good day as well. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter.

I'm honored by your request for friendship. However, I do not use this feature of Shefari as I do not like the way it is managed so I must decline.

Feel free to post notes to my home page anytime, though.
