*Taking a slight hiatus from Shelfari. Except for Austen and the occasional update and review, don't expect to see me much. I'll be back. I can promise that! In the meantime, I'm twittering: http://twitter.com/HemngwayHeroine

Do you think RR will ever write the next volume in the series? I was into this series a long time ago but it has been so llong since I have read Feast for Crows (not my favorite) that I have forgotten most of it by now.

So why do you like Jamie and Daenarys? I haven't read Feast For Crows Yet because it's apparently part one of a two book thing, A Dance of Dragons is supposed to take place at the same time and it hasn't come out yet. It's also just a really emotionally draining series, though I do enjoy it generally.

I JUST finished the book I was reading when we last spoke (and that I began over a month ago), so I'm going to postpone starting those Martin books. I want to wait until I have time to really enjoy them. Right now I'm lucky if I can snag 10 min/day. So you just march on through them, in case you were still waiting on me. :o)

Can't wait to see you and meet this lucky fella John!

I hate to say this... I'm cringing as I still debate typing the words: I might skip out on Emma this month. Eeeek! Might. Might. I might be able to fit it in. I'm just so tired, today. Anyway, I saw that you've got Out of the Silent Planet on your shelf, and the last thing I want to do is add things to your plate when I might be skipping out on something. But, if you've ALREADY read it, Jack and I are discussing it in BTS and it would be great to have you pop in and do a quick review/ say a few words. Hope to chit chat soon! http://www.shelfari.com/groups/23648/discussions/129977/Out-of-the-Silent-Planet---C-S-Lewis

You sit on a couch to read a book, you don't sit on a walrus to read a book.

Oh ok, a novel about comics. Well it doesn't sound too bad. I think he can handle it. Thanks for your help.

And as a reply to your 2nd post, yes you can suggest some. My nephew, he is always so frustrated because he loves adult books and classics, but some of the subject material is too mature for him. Suggesting something that strikes a balance between the two would be very helpful.

I understand that the Adventures of Kavalier and Clay is a graphic novel. You said that there was some sexual content, but not too explicit. Could you please be more specific? Is their nudity shown? How bad is the nudity on a scale of 1-10.

Are you going to join in on Ulysses? We're really just now beginning--reading, not discussing. Finding very little time for Shefari and reading in general, I'm moving VERY slowly. Anyway, you still have time!

Hi there! I love your new walrus icon. I finished Watchman and loved it. I've started on the Sandman series by Neil Gaiman now and I'm enjoying them as well. I'm afraid War and Peace got pushed down further into the pile. I'm shooting for trying to get it finished sometime in the current calendar year!!LOL Take care.
