FAQ » I want to reactivate my account
I want to reactivate my account
I'm signing in with a Legacy Shelfari Account
If you have a legacy Shelfari account (not linked to your Amazon.com credentials) then you can reactivate your account on the sign in page, here. Enter the email address and password for the account you are reactivating. When your account is deactivated you will see a check box beneath the sign in button “Please reactivate my account”. Make sure the box is checked, then re-enter your email address and password and then click the sign in button. Your account will be reactivated.
I'm trying to link an Amazon.com account to a deactivated Shelfari account
If you are trying to link your Amazon.com account with a deactivated Shelfari account, first sign in with your Amazon credentials here. Then, one of two things will happen:
a) If your Amazon.com credentials use the same email as your deactivated Shelfari account, you will see a message that "your Amazon email matches an existing deactivated Shelfari account" and a pre-checked box that says "please reactivate my account" (this should be checked). Click the "reactivate" button and your Amazon.com credentials will be linked to your reactivated Shelfari profile.
b) If your Amazon.com credentials use a different email from your deactivated Shelfari account, you will have selected the option to link account and entered in your Shelfari email and password. Then you will receive a message that “the account you are linking to is deactivated”. Re-enter the password for your Shelfari account and click “link accounts” and then your Amazon.com credentials will be linked to your reactivated Shelfari profile.
